Hangout

Privacy

Last updated 2 June 2026

We keep this simple. This page explains how we handle your information, including in Hangout — our shared, real-time AI workspace.

What we collect

How we use it

To run and improve the product, to contact you about Hangout, and to keep things secure. In Collab, the messages you send are processed by an AI provider to generate responses, and are shared with the other members of that workspace (that's the point of a shared space). We don't sell your information.

Who we share it with

Only the trusted service providers that help us run Hangout: Supabase (accounts and data), Cloudflare / PartyKit (real-time sync), Resend (sign-in emails), our AI provider (generating replies), and our analytics provider (understanding usage). They process data on our behalf and aren't allowed to use it for their own purposes.

Analytics

We use a third-party product-analytics and session-replay tool to understand how Collab is used and to debug problems. It may record your interactions — clicks, navigation, and on-screen content — associated with your account. We use this only to operate and improve the product.

How it's kept

Your information is stored securely and is accessible only to the Hangout team and those providers.
